The Holiday season is making its way into stores, and it’s not even Halloween yet! But it gives us all the more time to plan our holiday soirees, think about our holiday gift lists and organize our finances into 2010. I’ve always spread out my holiday purchases, buying gifts starting in October. This really allows me to think of a great “theme” around which my entire gift is based (it gives it so much more meaning that way) and it also gives me time to actually buy (i.e., afford) everything I want to give and get. Thus, I don’t find myself broke by New Year’s Eve.
