Erin’s List: Summer Bathing Suits for D+ Cups

If you’re a busty babe like me, you certainly dread (as in, D-R-E-A-D!!!) bathing suit shopping. Hey, even if you’re not busty, you most likely dread it, too. I have been through several shops around Orange County and tried countless brands, and I feel incredibly confident in saying that I found a spectacular bathing suit brand for us large chested gals…

Meet SEA FOLLY, an Australian swim and lifestyle brand that’s made its way to many retail swim shops in the states including Everything But Water, Diane’s, and Nordstrom.

I bought my first Sea Folly bathing suit online several years ago, and I instantly fell in love. Sea Folly’s bathing suit designs are fun, playful and relevant. Sometimes, bathing suits for D+ cups are so bulky or matronly. Sea Folly suits are sturdy and secure, while being uber cute and fashionable, and they have lasted me for a few years now. That’s a perfect 10 in my book.

Sea Folly has an exclusive retail location at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, and I can’t say enough great things about this store and the staff. I absolutely adored my bathing suit shopping experience (and how often do you hear that?)! The sales reps were knowledgeable, patient, honest, attentive and kind. And I even got a bottle of water in the dressing room while I tried on my swimwear – just the icing on the cake, if you ask me.

Find a Seafolly store near you by clicking HERE or shop the swimwear brand online. As a reference, I usually wear a D/DD bra and I like the fit of the Sea Folly bikini tops in a size 14, which translates to a rough US size 10.

Other swimwear brands that I think are consistent in offering quality bathing suit tops for D+ cup sizes:
Malia Mills // Vix (more on the sexy side) // Shoshanna // Freya // Panache

Erin’s List: The Perfect Wedge Sandal

I love shoes. I mean, really. I have a shoe problem. And while I love a cute ballet flat for their comfy practicality, sometimes my shorter frame just needs a lift. But I have major ankle and calf problems from a high school injury (will never go away), so heels are ruled out a lot (insert a HUGE SAD FACE here).

My go-to shoe, now, is a wedge – but they need to be comfy, cute, affordable, and wearable. And they need to go with a lot of things in my closet, and look just as stylish with jeans as they do with a dress. Whew – that’s a lot of “needs.” Well I have worn tons of wedges and I think I found  the perfect pair…. The Michael Antonio Glennaa Wedge Sandal.

These are super cute – even the guys compliment me! – and I can wear them for hours. I walked The Strip all night in these wedges when I was in Las Vegas for our Stella & Dot annual conference & fashion show. I wear them with jeans and a sweater, or with a LBD. And I adore the neon detail. The stone color is most flattering for lighter skin tones, as it blends in a bit with the leg. But all three colors are incredible.

Other wedges I love: Ugg Australia Isadora Wedge Sandal // Steve Madden Waverrlly Wedge // Shoemint Eloise Wedge // Forever 21 Timeless Strappy Wedge Sandal (surprisingly, every wedge I’ve gotten from Forever 21 has been amazing – their heels are a different story).
