Versatile Accessories Offer More Bang For Your Buck

Everyone loves to get more for their money. It’s just how we capitalistic animals operate. Getting two-for-one is fantastic, but getting three-for-one? Even better!! What about twelve-for-one? I think I’m in Heaven. A removable hood, reversible collar or sweater, and a wallet-and-purse-in-one are all fabulous finds. But I think we can do better. Check out these extremely versatile pieces that can be worn in more than one way… Just in time for summer 2011.

This fedora is super cute and a great way to shade your face from the sun’s harsh rays when you’re lounging poolside this summer. Choose from a detachable band in black, coral and a cute floral blue print to change up your look when you feel like it. It’s the perfect accessory to bring with you need to pack light – carribbean cruise or cross-country roadtrip anyone? – since you get 3 looks in 1!

This mixed chain lariat necklace is part rocker-chic and part boho cool, with black and silver chains braided together and silver chain fringe on the ends. Wear this little baby twelve different ways – yes TWELVE! If you wear this necklace only one time, each way, it will cost you less than $9 each time you wear it. Now, that’s what I call cost effective. The necklace also comes in a silver chain with pearls and in gold.

This drapey matte jersey dress comes in a plethora of colors and can be worn ten different ways, such as halter, v-neck, strapless, one-shoulder, twist around and more. A great little dress for both day and night, wear it as a v-neck with a blazer and black pumps for work. Then turn it into a strapless number with sparkly earrings and strappy heels for evening. The possibilities are literally endless. Perhaps you can find an eleventh way to wear it?
